pool & spa inspections
There are four phases to a Pool and Spa inspection of the accessible systems and components which are listed below.
Pool and Spa placement and protection : Including
fencing, self closing gates, clearances to electrical wires, location
of electrical outlets and clearance away from the pool or spa.
Pool and Spa shell (vessel) and coping : Including
the pool and deck surface condition checking for cracks, discoloration,
open joints, and defects as well as the coping surrounding the pool.
Presence of Anti-vortex drain covers are noted and recommended for
increased safety on any pool or spa.
Pool and Spa equipment : This includes inspection
of pool/spa lights, the presence of GFCI devices, junction box condition
and location. Other equipment such as pumps, heaters, filters, pipes,
timers, controls, skimmers are inspected. The presence of proper weatherproof
boxes, fittings, and conduit is noted for all electrical connections.
Pool and Spa equipment operation : Pool & Spa
lights are operated and inspected for the presence of GFCI devices
and the location of the junction box. The pump and filter is operated
and inspected for leakage and proper filtration. The heater
is activated and inspected for proper burn and the blower is activated
testing for proper air supply.
After your pool and spa inspection you will receive a report documenting
the information which can be emailed directly to you. A summary of
the report will include general maintenance tips and identify areas
in need of attention. The report can provide the necessary information
to make a secure investment in your future pool or spa.
